Glenn has been known as a live recording and mixing specialist. He has recorded and mixed more that 200 albums for many groups and ensembles. Glenn has engineered for a wide variety of musical acts, television broadcasts, remote recordings, has mixed for venues as large as 35,000 people, and has designed numerous systems for home, worship, concert and studio applications.

A grammy nominated engineer, he has worked with a wide variety of both local and national artists as well as many record lables. From classical, jazz, country, pop, christian, gospel, opera, choral, symphonic, and military band music, he continues to help clients make great music.

ShareOne of the interesting things with this album was the number of solos we had on the whole album.  When Bob Linder and I were listening to the solos happen in real time, there was some great playing.  With modern recording techniques, we are able to have a musician play the same solo multiple times, and we can then put in the solo that sounds best.  It is a great advancement because the musician and producer can discuss which solo sounds the best for the song.  The interesting thing I mentioned at the top of this post was that there were so many solos.  That may... [Read more]

ShareIt was really wonderful to record the rhythm sections for Gary Weldon’s album.  We departed a little from our previous Texas Jazz Masters sessions because we decided to use a few different people for the rhythm section instead of the same section on every piece.  Gary is an incredible musician. His trumpet, flughel horn and harmonica chops are superb. Gary, Bob and myself were able to choose many fine players from Houston to work with.
