Hit up the forum at http://scratchtools.de for support. They are the people who made ScratchTools and will be better troubleshooting than me.

  • You're setting your library path to HD/Users/spettro/Music - spettro is the user name on my computer. Switch out all the instances with my user name etc...with yours. Use the download doc for assistance and clear directions. Let me know how it works out~
  • i got it to work but serato takes forever to load and sometimes drops, can i change it back without time machine
  • Serato does take a while to load. I don't understand your question "can i change it back without time machine" - please clarify.
  • sorry what I meant was go back to my normal crates, how they were before. I used the instructions you gave but since my music folder is too big and contains itunes and other stuff, it was locking up serato to load crates it was taking hours, I had some gigs, so I had to just delete the scratchlive folders and copy them back from another drive
  • not sure where I'm going wrong here... I get this

    HI Jesse,

I download different genres into a folder called "1" - from here, I sort the music into their appropriate folder, based on genre, on my hard-drive. This is organizing on the "root level", i.e, the hard-drive.

I remove duplicates typically by using the shortcut "Control + R" when I notice I have duplicates while in ScratchLIVE. This will reveal the location of the file, then I delete....

I'm not sure how to scan the HD for duplicates...

Nice Work Eddie. Can you explain your download, sorting process? How to you remove duplicates of files that you may download? How to you manually sort through tracks into their root level organization?
